Cincinnati, OH: a Flash Tour

This really is going to be the shortest post about an entire state. We left Pittsburgh in the morning and spent the day driving through Ohio to get to our final destination outside of Lexington, KY.

Driving into Ohio was a momentous occasion as neither J nor I had ever been anywhere in the state of Ohio...

...ever eaten at a White Castle...

...or experienced Cincinnati chili. So while our drive through could not possibly do the state justice, we did manage to check several things off our bucket list. I guess the sign was right when it said we'd find it here!

Impressions of Cincinnati: whereas Pittsburgh seems built in the spirit of New York of Philadelphia, Cincinnati looks much more like Los Angeles or Dallas with its modern buildings and big wide car-centric streets.

We took a break at Findlay Market, an indoor-outdoor market with all kinds of food and crafts. Since we were stuffed full of food, we opted for a healthy snack.

The most beautiful açai bowl I've had in awhile! Just making sure we keep on top of the fresh fruit and vitamin intake while we travel. Thank you, Cincinnati!
